Earlier this month we lost a cherished member of the County House Research team who passed away suddenly. He hadn’t been with CHR for very long and he only worked part time, but he had an enormous effect on our office culture and morale. Good client relations, sales, and productivity are important building blocks for any business, but company culture is the true foundation of business success. The ability to work as a team, to persevere through difficulties, or, on the most basic level, to create a place where people can thrive for the better portion of their day, comes down to company culture. As we mourn our colleague’s passing, we are consoled by the memory of his warmth and humor, and, above all, the joy he brought to those around him. These are the most important lessons in work and in life.
